Red Jasper Dogs Carving

The detail in the carving of this piece is simply unbelievable!  Carved from a single piece of red jasper and left natural at the bottom to form a base, the carving depicts chinese ginseng for good health, chinese coins for good fortune and the dogs represent protection.  The detail in the craving of the dogs is the work of a truly talented craftsman - a dying art in China.  A truly unique and special carving, it is 24cm wide, 15cm high, and weighs 2.4kgs
